Whole green beans and wax beans are prepared from the young beans of the plants complying with the characteristics of the species Phaseolus vulgaris L.

The beans are size-graded (the diameter is defined as the diameter of the round perforation through which the thawed beans are passing).

Maximum diameter of the beans:

  • Whole green beans extra fine: 6,5 mm
  • Whole green beans very fine: 8 mm
  • Whole green beans fine: 9 mm
  • Whole green beans middle-fine: 10,5 mm

The beans may contain 20 % (in number) of beans of the immediately larger grade.

Sliced green beans are green beans that are cut lengthwise in slices with a thickness of less than 6,5 mm.

The green beans puree consists of mini portions that have a wieght between 20 to 25 g.

Cut green beans are green beans that are cut in pieces of a seemingly uniform length of 10 to 50 mm.

Logistic information (palletization)

The boxes are stacked on a EURO 80 x 120 cm pallet. The pallet is recoverable and in good condition. The cartons do not stick out of the contour of the pallet.
