Broccoli

The deep frozen broccoli florets are prepared from the immature heads of the plants complying with the characteristics of the species Brassica oleracea var. italica.

The broccoli heads are cleaned and separated into florets with a diameter of 20/40mm or 40/60mm.

The size of a floret is the smallest diameter of the head of a thawed floret measured with a vernier-calliper - with a tolerance of 10 % in weight for oversized or undersized florets.

The broccoli puree consists of mini portions that have a wiehgt between 20 to 25 g.
